🔥 Important: Working with Coffee in Soap
Coffee changes how your soap behaves — here’s how to handle it like a pro.
🧊 Use Frozen Coffee
- Brew strong coffee
- Let it cool
- Freeze into cubes
👉 This prevents:
- scorching the sugars
- overheating
- burnt smell
🌡️ Soap at Lower Temps
Aim for:
- Oils: 90–100°F
- Lye solution: cooled
👉 Coffee + sugars = heat acceleration
⚠️ Expect Faster Trace
Because of:
- coffee
- clay
- butters
👉 Stick to:
- simple designs
- quick pours
- no complicated swirls
